String Theory reunited virtually from our homes spanning from San Francisco to London to bring you the beloved theme from Animal Crossing New Horizons! We used extra sound effects from pots and pans, rice, and index cards!

Applause

Lady Gaga has always been one of String Theory's primary inspirations. Not afraid to be bold, not afraid to go for something new. When Applause was first released, we were moved by the rich harmonies and rhythm and decided to shoot a music video. We ended up shooting in a darker setting for a more mysterious effect.

Theme from Attack on Titan (Jiyuu No Tsubasa)

String Theory End of Year Concert 2015.

At the time of our concert, we had a total of 70 or so arrangements in our name, of which we had only performed 35 or so ever in public. For our final undergraduate concert, we wanted to include a piece that would represent the struggles, trials, and failures of our rehearsals (and performances). We would forgo arrangements due to a lack of time to practice or if it was difficult to put together, or if we didn’t think it would resonate with the audience. As such, we decided it would be appropriate to include an arrangement that we had never performed in public ever before! Attack on Titan is an awesome anime series with an incredible soundtrack.

This is the culmination of hard work, patience and passion. Originally by Swedish House Mafia, we really feel that this song captures deep emotions. We decided to bring this amazing song to the soul of the cello, bringing about a different style to the original song.
